Hello all,
I have come across two amazing opportunities that I'd like to share with you.

MCFD Youth Advisory Council looking for applicants (Due December 15, 2006) see
attached poster and application form
This would be great for someone who is interested in impacting the way
services for children and youth are delivered in BC (and what services they
receive). As some of you may have heard, the Ministry of Children and Family
Development is going through a major transformation process and they have
brought on board Lesley De Toit from South Africa as Deputy Minister to lead
the way. From what I know of her she seems really committed to involving
youth as participants in the process of change, and this advisory council will
be more than just your average consultation process. If you have some time
over the next year and want to gain experience directly impacting public
policy in BC this is an excellent opportunity!
